Integration, Diversity, and Fun Through Sports
U.S. Micro-Solutions, Inc. is pleased to support Friends to Friends, a Pittsburgh-area non-profit organization focused on increasing awareness and respect between children with and without special needs. Children and their families interact through sporting events such as bowling, fishing, and baseball. The organization was founded in 1995 by a local father, George O’Donnell, whose son has cerebral palsy.
George’s Friends to Friends website has loads of information about the organization and provides ways for you to help them in their mission to “bring greater awareness through integration.” You can also read a beautiful poetic tribute to his son, “A Father’s Thanks.”
When their story aired on a local news station there was no doubt that we needed to step up and help this organization meet its financial needs. Opportunities to work with organizations like Friends to Friends gives deep meaning to our work and it’s why we strive every day to make our business a success. As George says, “you may have a lot, but it’s meaningless unless you can share your love.”
